Functionality test: When checking whether the applications are working correctly, a test is carried out to ascertain whether the application meets the predetermined user requirements, while the application is interacting with the hardware platform, the databases, the network and other components. 

Regression test: This is used to measure the response from the application, or the impact on the application, of a changed situation in an existing application (for example the installation of new hardware or new applications; or changes in the application itself) in the IT infrastructure. 

Measuring response times: When measuring response times, a number of users are simulated. Under this increased pressure (the large number of users) it is possible to see how the application responds and how long it takes before an application starts up.

Test Plans

Before we begin testing your software product, we will provide you with a comprehensive, detailed Test Plan. Our Test Plans are designed to provide you with all of the relevant information you need to ensure that your product will be tested thoroughly. The Test Plan typically includes:

» The test platform configurations that will be used during testing 
» The start and completion dates for testing 
» The Test Cases that will be executed during the testing of your product 

We submit the Test Plan to you for your final approval before any testing begins.

Reports

During the execution of the Test Plan, all errors found by our Test Engineers are entered into PR-Tracker defect-tracker. You will be given a confidential username and password to login to PR-Tracker. We also supply you with daily error reports and weekly status reports concerning the testing of your product. At the completion of testing, you will be given a Final Report that will include all of the results of testing.
